Wassup World ! It's your boy Asylum, I Consider myself if not the best Conscious Rapper, one of the best. I started rapping when I was 10 years old a few days after 911. I remember my conflict resolution teacher asked me to write a rhyme for all the tragedy going on in the world, and so I did. After that I figured it was just something I'll do when I get bored but it later turned into a hobby. Up until last year I never thought I would want to peruse Hip-Hop but as I saw all the bullshit in the Rap game I had to do something.
I juggled around rap names but I couldn't find anything that suited my personality and the way I rap. Suddenly one night I had a dream that I was in straight jacket trapped in my own mind. Asylum fit me perfect; I think beyond any rapper to a level that makes people wonder if i'm sane.
I don't listen to music, I study it. I'm not a producer of any kind but as a rapper I make sure I flow, I'm understood, and most importantly that my rhymes are never in a ABC patter. You will most likely need one of two things while listening to my music; a thesaurus or rapgenius.com either way I make sure that I trigger a subconscious emotion.
I will mostly be posting up my music but I will also post video of me hanging out/future events or snippets of my music.
